Defending Joe

Seems Joe the Plumber did something he shouldn’t have – ask a tough question of Barack Hussein Obama. John McCain at a campaign rally defended Joe.
So be prepared America what has been done to “Joe the plumber” is what we have to look forward to if tough questions are asked of “The Chosen One” aka Barrack Hussein Obama if he becomes President. As Ed at HotAir points out:
So what have we learned from this episode?
- Thou shalt not offend The One by asking him a question. Of any kind.
- Anyone who questions The One will have to undergo a public pillorying of a kind unseen since the Red Scare, or perhaps the Inquisition.
- The Tanning-Bed Media will happily participate in any inquisition, as long as it keeps them from investigating irrelevant issues like Obama’s ties to the Chicago Machine, William Ayers, ACORN, or his record on protecting infanticide.
Don’t ask questions. Don’t check the records of people running for political office, but do check the records of those who dare violate Rule #1. No dissent will be tolerated. Our political and media masters have spoken.
But there’s nothing to fear from an Obama presidency, right?

I didn’t even know Joe existed until McCain made a point of pushing it out there during the debate – and I’ve watched a LOT of Obama and McCain coverage. And it’s obvious that 1. McCain didn’t read Obama’s tax plan or he would have known that those earning under $250,000 wouldn’t have their taxes increased and 2. that most plumbers (unless you’re the plumber to the McCains and others with mega incomes) you don’t make any where near $250,000 of taxable income. He’s out of touch! Maybe McCain shouldn’t have used poor Joe and maybe poor Joe should listen to Obama’s response…then poor Joe wouldn’t be in the media mess he’s in…maybe it’s NOT Obama’s fault – but McCain’s. RE: socialist leanings? That’s what they said about the CCC and other gov’t programs during the depression – and they didn’t hurt us, did they?

Keep drinking the kool aid donna. The point that fails to be seen is that under Obama’s plan not only will fewer people pay taxes but more people who don’t pay a dime will get money from the government.
The government programs have hurt us due to the fact that liberals have expanded them FAR beyond the original intent – to provide a “safety net” to those truly in need. The level of commitment to fund them is downright ludicrous and it keeps getting added to. In addition it has hurt this country psychologically due to people becoming dependent on government to solve their problems instead of learning to utilize personal responsibility.
