I wonder if this guy would volunteer his time to the recall effort? From the local paper.
Seems every time we turn around Gov. Jim Doyle’s budget hits us with new fees, fee increases and attempts to redirect our money into his coffers. Meanwhile, Doyle cons the taxpayers into funding his annual vacations to Europe. Trade talks in Ireland? Last I knew international trade was the province of the federal government, not a state governor.
Going to study railroads in Spain? Give me a break. Jim Doyle is robbing us, the public, blind. Recall Doyle now and throw him out of office (if not into prison).

Wisconsin is failing miserably under Gov. Jim Doyle. Wisconsin has one of the worst budget deficits in the country and yet our state government keeps spending out of control. We have lost so many manufacturing jobs yet Jim Doyle keeps looking for ways to tax businesses more and raise energy costs.
He has blocked nuclear power and clean coal technology for energy alternatives that don’t even exist.
We have businesses shutting down all over this state yet he regulates and increases the minimum wage, mandatory sick pay and insurance coverage.
This kills small business which is at the heart of this state. Not to mention further tax increases for all businesses in his proposed budget.
We are losing population, we are losing business and jobs, we are being taxed like crazy and he is proposing even more taxes. Doyle is also campaigning that he is going to cut spending, but this is completely untrue.
He is increasing spending by 10 percent in his new budget. How can a state with a $6 billion shortfall increase spending? Doyle plans to increase taxes by $2 billion more, driving families and businesses out of this state. This will have a huge affect on jobs. If you raise taxes, jobs leave. It’s a shame that Wisconsin families are suffering but state government is going to continue to tax and spend while we continue to pay the bill.
Doyle and the Democrats are looking for anything that moves or breathes so they can tax it. Pretty soon we may be taxing taxes in this state.
Doyle’s budget drives this state further into debt.
That’s a fact.
It’s also a fact that Wisconsin lost 72,550 jobs last year while state government increased by 900-plus jobs. And when you top it all off with the mythical “climate change” taxes there will be nothing left in our wallets to enjoy Wisconsin.
Doyle has destroyed this state and he has been dishonest with his intentions.
It’s time to dump Doyle for someone who will be responsible with taxpayer money.
