President Obama came to Manitowoc today to promote “clean” energy, innovation and jobs. He also invoked Vince Lombardi.
Perhaps the real reason he chose to visit Manitowoc, WI was because he referred to Sputnik in the State of the Union and part of the Sputnik fell in Manitowoc almost fifty years ago. Doubt it.
This has everything to do with Wisconsin being a battleground state in 2012.
