What’s your plan?

Interest on the national debt over the next 10 years – $5.5 trillion!

The question is do those in their early 20′s realize the effect this back-breaking national debt will have on America‘s future?  Or will they continue to be blinded by liberal fallacies?

He is Risen!

From the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 16:

When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

Senator Johnson Voting “No”

This is good news.

“I made a commitment to support the House in its pledge to cut $100 billion from the budget – a budget that should have been passed last year, when Democrats controlled both Houses of Congress and the presidency. I did so because I believe it was important to take that first step in enacting real spending cuts.

“This is the first CR that does not achieve that level of spending reduction. As a result, I will vote no when this CR comes before the Senate.

“We can do better; we must do better. In order to get the economy growing again we must limit the size, scope, and cost of the federal government. The first step is to establish very hard spending caps. My preference is a constitutional limit on spending married with an identical legislative spending limitation. Once the spending caps are established, then the hard work of prioritizing spending under those caps must begin.

“I stand ready to work with anyone willing to seriously address these issues.”

Senator Ron Johnson is ready to fight the battle now when it comes to making the tough decisions on spending.  Who else from the Wisconsin contingent is willing to vote against this deal that was brokered at the 11th hour last Friday night?
