You have a great site and here’s something you might want to add.

Eric Klein predicts a Thompson victory.

    Instapundit has the url:

I am writing this short piece just so it is on record that I predicted that Fred Thompson would win the 2008 election. Note that I am making such a prediction when he only finished 5th in his last primary and at this point few, if any, are predicting his win. So I’m a bit ahead of the curve here!

Why will he win? Because there are only three candidates who are strong on defense yet do not offend many Republicans: Giuliani, Romney, and Thompson. Of these three, Giuliani seems to be stumbling badly and Romney is stumbling badly enough to give an opening to Thompson. (As I write this it would not be surprising if Romney won in Michigan but he is still running into some problems.)

Most importantly in the January 10, 2008 debate in South Carolina, Fred Thompson did an excellent job and gave his campaign the momentum that it will need to pull away from Romney and Giuliani in case their campaigns get their acts together. On January 11, 2008 after getting confirmation that the debate performance was helping his campaign I wrote to many people and let them know my prediction and today I am telling it to you.

I expect the Democratic nominee to lose the election because they will be weak on defense and the War on Terror is still a decisive issue, particularly as Iran goes nuclear.

    Eric Klien

01/13/08 Update: Posted on Atlas Shrugs to provide evidence of prediction.

01/14/08 Update: Prediction also placed on InstaPundit to provide evidence of prediction.

    Brad -

You gotta stay in touch man. :) Hope you are doing well. I would like to ask you not to take your Fred stuff down, we are still going to need it. I still have a link to you from Pinnacle-Cascade.

I am writing an article, “Fred Thompson is as Dumb as a Fox”, that I will post on http://www.pinnaclecascade.com on Monday. (No such thing as a “dumb” fox) I think you are going to find it very interesting. To give you a little heads up remember that Fred said, “I’m not going to play by the phoney rules”. Fred was not talking about the MSM only, he was talking about the entire election process.

I have two interesting articles posted, in the blue box, on my web site this morning. You will find those very, very interesting as well.

Stay in touch with me at gomezcooley2@hotmail.com

  5. Now that Fred is no longer in the race, isn’t it time you updated you web page? I would be interested in why you are not supporting Ron Paul since he is presumably the only candidate who is still running who is strong on defense. I got to it because I was looking for more info on the Meridian initiative which just passed congress. People need to know more about this type of failed government, and irresponsible spending. Eliminating the drug war would be much cheaper and would eliminate the problem of the cartels having money to spend on guns and ammo. You may use my email address to reply. Lets talk. ds

    Brad,
I recently started a Reagan Conservative petition which is aimed at calling out liberal Republican politicians (RINOs) who have strayed far from Reagan Conservatism to the party’s detriment.

If you agree, I’d love it if you signed it and passed it on. Here’s the link:
