Favre released the following statement about his grandson on his website:
“Deanna and I are very proud to welcome Parker Brett to the Favre family. Parker Brett was born on Friday, April 2, weighing 7 lbs. 7 oz and we’re pleased to say that both Mom, Dad and Parker Brett are healthy and doing great.”
“A grandpa at 40. It almost makes me feel old,” Favre said, according to ESPN‘s Ed Werder. As for its affect on his future with the Vikings, Favre said, “It makes things more complicated but right now I’m not thinking much about football.” (Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette)
