Tom Nelson listening sessions Monday

State Rep. Tom Nelson (D-Kaukauna) will hold listening sessions at five sites in the 5th Assembly District on Monday:

  • 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. —Plum Hill Cafe, 313 Dodge St., Kaukauna.
  • 11:30 a.m. to noon —Marathon gas station, corner of Outagamie County S and Outagamie County E, Freedom.
  • 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. —Don’s Quality Market, 147 W. Wisconsin St., Seymour.
  • 2 to 2:30 p.m. — Nichols Memory Mall, W5631 Outagamie County F, Nichols.
  • 3 to 3:30 p.m. — Black Creek Village Library, 507 S. Maple St., Black Creek.
  • Constituents are welcome to stop and voice their opinions, raise concerns and share ideas with Nelson. (Source: Post Crescent)
  • Little Tommy Nelson may be running for Lt. Governor but he’s at least he’s still working for the residents he currently represents by holding listening sessions to hear from them.  Wonder if any other State Assembly Representatives have been doing the same since announcing their intentions to seek a different office.  Or are they focused on full-time campaigning instead representing their current constituents?

Will any candidates running to replace Little Tommy attend the sessions to find out the concerns of residents they may be representing after November 2? Might be a prudent thing to do.
