The Hermanator endorses Sean Duffy and Reid Ribble

Today, Herman Cain and The Hermanator PAC announced the support for Sean Duffy (R-Ashland) who is running for Congress against State Senator Julie Lassa in Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District and support for Reid Ribble in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District against the given-to-embellishment, liberal Congressman, Steve Kagan.

Both Mr. Duffy and Mr. Ribble have proven themselves to be aggressive taxpayer advocates committed to reining in, and rolling back, the irresponsible fiscal policies of Nancy Pelosi and her liberal and reliable enablers like State Senator Julie Lassa and Congressman Steve Kagan.

As unemployment remains unacceptably high and the Democrat-controlled Congress has failed to pursue policies that will put Wisconsinites back to work, Ribble and Duffy have made it a priority to grow our nation’s economy through policies that won’t bankrupt our nation and children and will ensure the American Dream is attainable for future generations.

Mr. Duffy’s election to Congress will portend a seismic shift in Wisconsin’s politics; working families and job creators will have an honest, hardworking advocate for lower taxes and growing an economy that produces long-term, sustainable employment.

Mr. Duffy’s opponent, on the other hand, has a nearly-unrivaled record of supporting billions of dollars in tax increases and the Madison special interests; indeed, she supported a government takeover of Wisconsin’s healthcare system that is already recognized nationally for its level of access and quality.  At the time, it would have been one of the largest tax increases in United States history.

Reid Ribble, a very successful businessman, has run an aggressive campaign for Congress, highlighting his commitment to – and track record of – putting people to work.  Mr. Ribble has committed himself to working in Congress to rein in out-of-control government spending and to put Wisconsinites back to work through pro-growth economic policies that won’t compromise working families and job creators.

Conversely, Congressman Kagan has been on the wrong side of Wisconsinites’ interests for too long; in the 111th Congress, Nancy Pelosi could count on Congressman Kagan to support her agenda over 98 percent of the time.  When it came to protecting Wisconsinites interests, Kagan sided with a liberal agenda to pass ObamaCare, Cap and Trade, and most recently, so-called financial reform that will only prolong the current economic downturn and hurt Wisconsin’s small businesses and farmers.

Noted Herman Cain of his support:

“I couldn’t be more pleased to endorse Sean Duffy and Reid Ribble as they continue to run strong campaigns advocating for Wisconsin’s working families and job-creators.

“Sean Duffy and Reid Ribble represent a real threat to the agenda of liberals like Nancy Pelosi and Steve Kagan.  The Democrats in Washington are already spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on recklessly false ads attacking them.  Their most recent ad against Mr. Duffy was so offensive and wrong that the Pulitzer Prize-winning PolitiFact declared them to not only be false, but outright lies “nearly as old as [Social Security]itself”.

“Conservatives like Sean Duffy and Reid Ribble need and deserve the resources necessary to help put our great country back on track and to undo the damaging policies of the liberals who dominate Congress.”

Herman Cain’s “The Hermanator PAC” was formed because Herman believes it is time to stand up andTake Back Our Government!

By targeting open and vulnerable Democrat-held seats, we can bring back fiscal responsibility to government, starting with the House of Representatives, and we can make sure conservatives are returned to the majority when Congress begins a new session in 2011. With conservatives in the majority, we can slow, if not stop, the tax and spend policies of the current Congress, led by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. (Source: The Hermanator PAC)

Herman Cain is getting involved with supporting a number candidates across the country this election cycle.  Interesting that neither the Duffy or Ribble campaigns have promoted this endorsement last week from a prominent conservative on the national scene.
